Joshua Hill
Managing Partner
Mr. Joshua Hill, is the Managing Partner of Pemberton Whiteman & Hill LLC; he recruits experienced attorneys, STEM, technology & medical professionals. Josh has been in this leadership position since April 2007. Prior to his current leadership, Josh was a top legal recruiter for an all-service Inc. 500 search firm. Josh has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University in Washington DC. Josh holds a Masters of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Mr. Hill has taken several business courses with UMKC’s Henry W. Bloch School of Business, including the E-Scholars Program in the Fall of 2016. He also earned the New York University Professional Development Gold Standard Badge for completing the “SHRM Certification Preparation” in the Fall of 2018. Mr. Hill was elected in April 2022 to the Grandview C4 School Board where he currently serves as a Board Member & Treasurer. Joshua supports and promotes STEM (science, technology, engineering & math) curriculum and internships for Grandview students. He serves as the Chairman of the Sertoma Club of Kansas City. He was awarded Sertoman of the Year in Kansas City for 2006-2007. Josh chaired the successful Sound of the City 2018 5K-10K Run in Independence, Missouri. Josh is a member of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants. He is the Executive Director of the Kenneth C. Hill Charitable Foundation which supports education and other worthy charitable efforts. Mr. Hill’s most memorable travels have been to Israel and Egypt. He also enjoys downhill skiing, golf and is a licensed hunter. Mr. Hill co-chairs a flag football league in K.C. and is also an accomplished ballroom dancer with his wife.
Emily Hill
Chief Operating Officer
Mrs. Emily Hill is Pemberton Whiteman & Hill’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mrs. Hill provides leadership for our executive recruiting team. She is experienced in motivating, training, and guiding the PWH executive recruiting team in exceeding their goals. She has written and designed the executive recruiting training program. Mrs. Hill cultivates and develops each executive recruiter to achieve advancement within the organization. Mrs. Hill also oversees the day-to-day operations, marketing, and finances of the organization. Emily holds degrees from Regis University (CO) in English literature and sociology.
